PIXEL strives to create a space for growth and community through mentorship opportunities. PIXEL Pals is our design mentorship program designed to work in a hybrid learning environment.
PIXEL Pals are upper division and lower division design students who are motivated to teach and learn from others through collaboration and community values. Upper division pals support lower division pals as they navigate their educational careers at UC Davis through design software tutorials, design critiques, answering questions, and providing other guidance.
As a PIXEL Pal, you will be individually paired with a mentor or mentee to foster stronger, long-lasting connections within the UC Davis Design community. You will also gain access to the exclusive PIXEL Pals Slack community, where mentors and mentees from all areas of design can communicate, network, and build lasting connections.
